My truck has 12,000 miles on it, looking at the BD switzer turbo (single)
I tow a lot, toy hauler around 9,000lbs. do you think I should wait until I have more miles on the truck ?? Not worried about warranty being void. Any info on the turbo choice.

 

Have you done any other modifications? This turbo is a great towing turbo. On the third gen truck it will support up to 500hp. It is an easy bolt on. If you out grow this turbo it will also upgrade into our twin kits.

 

Other mods include,Afe complete intake replacement. removed catfrom exhaust, instaled mmagnaflow muffler.Bully Dog set up with out look.

What advantages is the super B turbo over the stock ??

 

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you here, been on vacation so I havent even looked at a computer for a week. The biggest thing is going to be a more efficient charge of air going into the engine. That means more, cooler air is going in. That reduces the exhaust gas temperatures and helps to make more power. It will allow you to stay on the throttle longer without having EGT issues.
