New Toolbox

I stopped by TSC today and got a black low profile toolbox. It was 10% off because of Christmas sale. I am gonna get the matching bed rail caps whenever they get them in too.

I took my bed stripes off because I thought they looked kinda tacky after I put my fender flares on. I'll come up with something else soon.

Thats the exact box I want...Hoping someone special will get it for me for x-mas. I like the idea of putting "Power Wagon" badging on the truck instead of the stripes, your truck looks pretty close to one, just an idea of course.

Lookin' good, man! I couldn't live without my box.
(I finally got a good "laydown" with my stripes. Lots of compliments on them - all good!)

Hey hobbz, I want to put some stacks on my '04 and want to know your feelings on the exhaust tone. Do they drone a lot when you tow or are they a reasonable sound inside the cab. I was thinking that since they are pointing up and behind you the noise may not be that bad, but I could be wrong.

I haven't towed anything since I put my stacks on. But I do think that there would still be a drone pulling a camper of something of the sorts. But who cares, thats what they make ear plugs for......

I made some guards for my stacks today. I had an old alum toolbox for a ranger so I cut it up for the guards I made. I made one to go underneath the box to when I am hauling stuff, nothing rolls against the stacks. The other one I made is even with the top of the bed and fills the gap between the toolbox and back of the bed. And the paint I had even matches the toolbox powercoat, so I didn't spend a dime.
