Talking NEW SP Diesel Eliminator

Check out their Ebay listing

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...A1%3A1v_search

I've been beta testing one for quite awhile now.

Loads of extra adjustable power and the electronic wastegate controller is sweet max boost from 25 to 45 at the turn of a **** in the cab.

Just my quick glance opinion, but that looks too cheap and plain for the money they want for it. If you want a cool boost controller and don't mind spending the cash, check these out:

Not quite sure what you mean, the Eliminator is not just a wastegate controller, it also increases horsepower and torque, has an anti-theft mode, weather/economy mode.

From the way I see it this is the least expensive performance module on the market, with a bunch of extra features included.

www.spdiesel.com is there website, from my understanding they are in the process of upgrading there site to inlcude the new dodge product line.

We have a 305/555 box in beta testing, but we need a couple more Baltimore/DC area beta testers before we will release it. Give us a call or send me an IM if your interested.

Ahh, your right. That is what I get for a "quick glance opinion". I should have read the rest of it. Interesting.

Do these interface with our trucks or would I have to MSU with it?

The fancy ones that do data logging would probably not. You would have to ask the manufacturer but I wouldn't think so. They are made for ricers so they probably wouldn't have the right sensor lists for reading the sensors via a diesel's CANbus. The ones that do not do data logging should work just fine. There are a few that interface with the onboard MAP sensor for boost readings which would probably not work for us either (again different sensors), but most just get their boost reading from the turbo's compressor housing just like the wastegate actuator (these would work fine). The simple boost only controllers should work on any turbocharged vehicle. Recommend asking the manufacturer first before spending money.

This one is a simple boost only module that from what I can tell does not interface with any vehicle electronics, so it should work fine. http://www.boostcontroller.com/index.php?item=82

These in-cab adjustable manual boost controllers would definatley work:

There are cheaper ones out there, just have to look around.

Another thing you would have to check into on those Greddy units is if they can handle the boost that we are making. Not many ricers make 40+psi of boost.

The nice thing about the boost controller that is built into SP Diesel power module is that it plugs into the factory wiring harness and when removed the dealer would not have a clue it was ever on there. No hose clamps to change or hoses to cut.

I remember hearing about Dodge dealers looking for worm drive hose clamps on early 3rd Gen boost elbows.
