Well the army deemed it necessary to send me to germany so I had to trade the truck in, couldnt afford the gas and it was to big for the road. So I picked up an 08 grand cherokee with the new 3.0L Turbo diesel. Not as beastly as the cummins but it has quite good pickup off the line, with 210HP and 376lb-ft of torque. It rated to tow 8000 lbs so not to bad for a little rig, but I definetly miss the ram, but what can you do. Hopefully in a couple years they'll come out with some performance upgrades for it.

 

Since the 3.0 CRD has been available for a while in Europe you should be able to find a tuner easily in Germany.

I've seen programmers for the Merc Diesel...so would imagine there's some out for the same motor in a jeep....

Going to germany on the 2nd....have a 911 carrera s rental out of Frankfurt....2 hour drive to Bad Hersfeld on the autoban....too bad that's only a 4 lane....last month got passed by an audi R8 doing about mach 5....
