Your gonna need some injectors and at least a 66 turbo to kick some serious tail...The turbo will get you most of the way there but the 03 stix are in need of a hone or ideally new flux nozzles to make the big power. On an 03 with a stock Cp3 550 with lots of air is a great number. The hottest 04.5 to 06's are making 660hp with big turbos, stix and a double or triple stack. Good luck. IF you don't mind a little smoke... an Aurora 5000 or K31 Hybrid is the biggest streetable turbo for big power. ks

Output shafts are a nice relief valve.....The stock ones are $70 at my shop and only the overdrive section needs to be torn off. Unless you are really unlucky and you crack the OD housing or break the shaft in the Transfer case (4wd). 47re's tend to crack the OD housing....48re's have a better record so far.....maybe a billet OD housing is needed. ks

torque converter problem

the torque on my tranny want just slide in it went in about an inch when i tapped it with a rubber mallet "not real hard" but its like the torque converter shaft on the outside is to big for what seems to be a bushing maybe behind the front seal. Is this right to have to be so hard going in. Trying to get some help on this so I can get it half way installed tonight.
