F1 Diesel rules.....DHL drools.....Well I went away for the weekend and missed the DHL guy who tried to deliver the injectors on Thursday....not home....so on Friday he just left them on the doorstep....I kid you not....he left the injectors on the doorstep behind a bale of hay from the halloween display. I got home from the weekend in Halifax and tried to hook up with the DHL guy but no luck on Monday....Found him on Tuesday and he said "oh yeah I left them on the front door step behind the display. I near dropped on the spot as I had been on the door step yesterday and I didn't see any package. I rush home and no package. Totally freaked of course. Then I remember I told the neighbor to pick up my papers while I was away. Went over and he had seen the DHL truck so he went over and picked it up.....He's 92 so he was waiting for me to drop over like I normally do. Sweet injectors are in hand.
I've decided to pull this engine and put spare #2 in so it will be next week before the spare arrives at the shop and the transformation happens. Don M, I'll send the whole package of injectors later this week when I get back to the truck and then to the shop. Thanks for the awesome product support beyond the extreme call of duty....you are a pillar of the diesel performance community. Kerry

 

Wow that was Fast on getting the injectors back so fast from Don M. Kerry you will have to keep us updated on the new motor.

Yep, It is time to start getting ready for next year. Still trying to decide on a new truck to start with.....looking at a 2006 plain jane regular cab 2wd...Cummins....That way I get another spare engine and only have to worry about the rear axle and tranny. Lots for 20 to 22k this time of year.

Still no diagnosis on engine #1.....The head will be coming off anyway to take a looksie once its out. I'm hoping The CP3.4 is good. I'm in the truck tomorrow to pull the injectors to get them off to Don M.

Anyone heard from King D, Jess Sproule recently. I was looking at getting some stuff off him ASAP, and I sent him a pm but no reply. ks

 

I have been also trying to get ahold of him to no avail. And the listing has gone from the classifieds.
