New exhaust

I got my new exhaust put on last night, diamond eye 5' turbo back w/o muffler with 6 inch tip. This thing is LOUD . Does anyone else on here run a similar system ? What is a good muffler to put on ? I am worried i am going to get a exhaust ticket especially after i heard one of my buddies got a $500 exhaust ticket last weekend.

I can laugh because I did the exact same thing, wow was it loud Try a MBRP 5" muffler or a Magnaflow 5" muffler. The only thing I dont like about my magnaflow is the ID is only 4", but I have no EGT issues ever so I'm good w/ it. I just didn't like the quality of the big rig mufflers as I've seen a couple rust out pretty fast. THe mufflers I suggest are made of thicker material and you can get them in stainless steel.

ya know after driving around today, i kind of like it for now. LOL. i may still end up getting a muffler though. it is only REALLY loud when the torque converter locks up between 45-50 mph then it sounds like a peterbilt.

how much of a difference does a high flow muffler make ? right now i got the problem of the exhaust rubbing on the frame right after the turbo. it is kind of annoying and only happens in parking lots.
