Yes, I still have stock tires and yes, they will lite up on demand. Street manners are actually pretty mild. The only issue is being careful not to smoke out an intersection.

Right before I left Sacramento they were starting to crack down on the people rolling the coal. Light trucks and semis alike. I think they even setup a hotline number to call if people were blacking out highways. You ever been called on or know anyone who has?

 

I have not been called on or know anyone. However I remain careful not to draw attention to myself. That is a ticket I do not need.. that is attention I do not need.

I am also mindful how others will view us "diesel folks" in general too.

 

Maybe... we'll see. I have been awfully careful at the track. If I do dip that far, it will sure make the wife happy.

The guys at Left Coast were of the opinion when I left that there was more in it. The shop was so hot, and so was the engine. The feeling was with cooler air and a cooler engine, in their experience anyway, I was leaving 30-40 hp on the table. So, under better circumstances and if I can figure out what I am doing at the track and manage to put it all together correctly, maybe so. It will be low 11's anyway.
