I know this is all over the board, scattered everywhere, but I'm going to try to be as specific as possible with my question. I want people with 05's (or 04.5s I suppose) to direct me on what to do for programming. I was looking at edge w/ attitude for the fact that it includes egt's, etc., but if its not the best, I want to evaluate my other options. I plan on upgrading the tranny in the future, but for now, I want to maximize my otherwise stock truck while I work on getting other parts together (exhaust, intake, tranny upgrades, FASS, etc.)

what benefits does the smarty have over the edge unit?

 

if you are looking for a power adder with gauges (monitor), i would look at the Juice/Attitude or Quadzilla Race with the Commander.

if you are after BIG power, might take a peek at TST.

just for the record, ive owned 3 juice/attitudes and never had a problem with any of them.

 

I say go with the smarty It is Great!

If you get the Attitude monitor, you will get lots of functions such as a boost gauge, EGT gauge, digital engine temp, etc, etc, etc

the smarty is strictly a programmer. nothing comes with it to monitor any parameters
