need some advice on exterior mods (pics)

was thinking of a few mods to pretty up the new cab & chassis, I had a few things in mind, I've already added some mudflaps for the front & just ordered a set of stainless nerf bars as well, the other mods I'd considered were a set of the stainless door handle covers, & then probably the factory chrome body molding for the doors, & then I may have the windows tinted, & lastly I think I'm gonna add a brushguard, (ranchhand or something similar) I was planning on adding a full bumper replacement, but with all the aluminum & chrome I just don't think it would look very good, the truck is in the shop now having the bed installed, so keep that in mind as well, (Hillsboro aluminum flatbed) so what do you guys think?????

let me know if you guys have any other ideas! thanks alot, Dusty

Get a body colored front bumper replacement. Some polished stainless rocker covers might look nice with that aluminum bed. SRT-10 hood. Some off road lights on the bumper.

I think it would look sweet blacked out instead of chromed out..I like the smoked marker lights...add stock powdercoated black wheels, no badges and that would be even cooler then it is now.

Please don't put that sticky chrome paneling on the side/rocker panels.

Here's my truck, I've gone with the chromed look so far...Door handles, grille gaurd, nerf bars(can't see it in the picture but they have leds down the middle of the bars) and diamond plated mudflaps. I also recently put an SRT-10 hood on I'll try to get some new pictures up this weekend. But I think with you're color of truck the blacked out look would look better IMO. Shave the emblems, tinted windows, black or grey grille gaurd or bumper, and if you really get carried away some powder coated wheels. I agree that the SRT-10 hood would look good no matter what you decide to do.

With that color truck I would definitely go with the black accessories like nerfs front end replacement and maybe flares. I really like the smoked out cab lights too. IMO I'm not much of a fan of the blacked out wheels though.

But I'm not sure what all of the black would look like with the aluminum bed.

thanks guys, my first plans for the truck were alot like the suggestions, pull the emblems & go with black everything, but since I decided on an aluminum bed instead of steel, I just don't think it'll look right, all that aluminum out back & then a bunch of black up front???? I'll get a couple more pics up hopefully by sat. evening of it with the bed on it & then maybe the chrome will seem more fitting???? I totally agree on the black with the gray that's how the 01' is & it looks awesome!!!, but the bed is just messin' everything up!! LOL thanks again & I'll get more pics up asap! Dusty

I think a aluminum flatbed would really look good, especially on a dark colored vehicle like yours.
And with SS step bars.

Well with the aluminum flat bed, some 19.5 or 22.5 would look real nice, also a big front bumper that is black.

if you are goin with the silver and black look you can get some sweet factory lights(headlights) that come on the srt10 trucks. i put them in my silver dodge they look good i have no pics of my new truck but the pics of headlights are on DWIGGS page.
