I killed my con fe single with a smarty towing 7,000 lbs in three months go double disk. If you kill your single south bend there not very nice as far as i am concerned at least with peter but I do love my double

 

so you didn't think the constomer service was very good bluechrome? thats kinda the opposite of what i hear most. Does any one know how much difference there is in the 6 button or 12 button? If im driving it everyday and only race of pull very very occasionaly won't a 6 button suit me a little better?

 

Yes I have the 3600.
12 button is smoother and for more for pullin, 6 is a little grabbier (is that a word?) and more for drag racin.

Call SB and talk to Peter he can set you up better than us, but the pressure plate load shouldnt really make a diff in how jerky it is if you can enguage it smoothly.

I can back a trailer in 2wd but if it is real heavy or goin up hill I will put it in 4lo. The trick to backin in 2wd is the get used to the new clutch and once you start to let it out go on out with it.

It will not drive like stock, it will be quite a bit differant but it is not bad at all, I love mine and wouldnt trade it for anything, except maybe a 3850.

I have also notice that with the smarty or maybe its just time it seems to get smoother and I can now float gears without much trouble.
