Need Help with Bully Dog Triple Dog
my father is out of town and had asked me to set his triple dog back to stock on his 05 dodge so it can go to the dealer for maintanance. I read the instructions and it does not go into details so i did what it says to do but it did not show the percentage of what was done so i left it for a good 5 minutes, came back to it cycled the ignition started up ran fine and there was no codes being thrown, so i let it warm up then shut it down plugged in the triple dog, it was in the on the fly menu and stock was highlighted so i figured the ecm was back to stock. So my question is, is it back to stock and its ok? thanks for the input.
you need to bring it to the main menu, and select download and then it will ask you whether or not you want to turn it to stock. Hope this helps, just put mine on today
Try this:
Put key in ignition, do not turn on.
Plug in downloader.
It will come up in Adjust on the Fly mode.
Scroll down and select Main Menu.
On the Main Menu select Download.
I believe this is where it will prompt you to turn key to ON position.
It will give you the option to go back to stock.
Press "N" to return to stock.
I don't remember if you have to press "Y" at a prompt again or not but this is the steps to get to Return to Stock mode.
It will take 5-10 minutes to complete depending on which version.
You will see a number of processes on the screen and it will tell you when it is completely finished.

Those are awesome instructions, they should get your through it now without a problem... A Lot of people assume that if you just select the stock program that is truly back to stock and unfortunately that is not the case. Another area this causes problems in is when you go to update you Triple Dog and then go plug it back in the truck and have a VIN mis-match... Thanks For the detailed and almost exact operating procedure to get it done.

thanks for the help ram, your instructions were great but it did not take 5-10 min, it counted down from 30. maybe because i had it set to stock on the fly menu. just to double check i plugged in the BDDL and went to install and it only displayed install downloader. does this mean the downloader has been uninstalled. Thanks For You Help.
