I don't need one yet, (88,000miles),but will soon be in the market for a beefy trans built for towing 12,000 lbs plus, (toybox fifthwheel). I looking for a local builder or one who regularly works with big companies like ATS. Who does anybody recommend near San Diego CA? Thanks, Jim.

 

I'm not recommending anyone, but ATS has a dealer finder on their website.

I do some work on my truck but John is where I go if I can't figure something out. Thought I had injector problems...puffs of smoke at idle and hard stumbling start.

John did some troubleshooting and replaced the fuel control actuator. Runs like a champ now. Cost me under $300 instead of several grand!

He also installed my PacBrake and gauges at very reasonable prices. I've seen him in the middle of transmission and clutch work and he's very meticulous.

Great, honest one-man, one-dog shop. I highly recommend it!
