I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Xzillaraider XZT off ebay brand new for $200 bux. My question for other people running this "chip" is would it be highly recommended for me to get a EGT/Boost gauges before running this? The only reason I purchased this is because I've heard lots of people stating they have actually increased their fuel mileage with it. I'm not going to be towing anything with it, just daily commute driving(30miles round trip).

Gauges are a GOOD idea stock much less with ANY fueling box.I would be VERY nervous about a performance box and not having at LEAST a EGT gauge. I have the Westach duel gauge in a single mount pillar with grab handle from Geno's.Folks think its factory.

You might get better mileage. If you drive really conservatively. I'd get the guages also. I've never seen over 1400degree egt's with just the XZT, modded intake and exhaust BUT every truck is different. Guages are cheap insurance and look pretty cool also...
