i dident notice any difference at all. well, maybe i did, it sounded less like a crisp whistle and more like a rush of air. so i put it back in, it all might have been in my head

 

Will the dealer try and void warranty work if this is missing? Is it easy to put back in?

 

Yes- - - -it is as easy if not easier to put back in as it is to take out! Just keep it and replace it if you ever have to take the truck into the dealer for anything exhaust/turbo wise. Cummins Marks the plate and the turbo with a blue marker to indicate if it has ever been moved, replaced/tampered with. So get it back on in the same position if you are worried about it! JB
