My night at the track..1/8th mile

Couldnt get a good launch for the life of me tonight, but heres the video.

My cummins vs Charger, and viper

I beat the viper the first run and the second, i had a faster et, but my reaction time sucked so he got "winner" under his lane on the ticket.

thats what i was thinking too, but this track isnt really know for thier knowledge of drag racing. i couldnt count how many time the announcer call my truck a chevy, or ford, or a hemi.

I wouldnt doubt that their traps are all messed up either. Its really a lame track but it the only one near me.

Sweet video man!

Did you let off the throttle just after that first launch? It sounded like the there was a little bit of turbo bark or something.

Win light is based on who gets there first not faster et, As long as you dont red light and get there first u win. Et wont start till you break the lights so u can sit there for 1 min after the green light and run a 10 flat the other guy leaves 1 second after the green light and runs a 15.50 and he will win. Really its tottal time, add up the reaction time and et and that is your tottal for the win light.

This is why reaction time is so important, my bike has beatend faster guys at the track cause I am pretty good at cutting lights. I have had 3) .0* times in a single night and my best was a .01

That truck runs awsome, you got screwed in that last race cause the idiot staged wrong. When this happens I useually roll back out of the prestage and reset it that way you can do your normal thing first. Dont let someone else's idiot move take you out of your rythem. Curious did you get full boost before u left on that last race??

Not even close. i had to spray to catch up. thanks for he insight. I would usually back out and restage when that happenes, but these guys dont like all the smoke when im staging i guess and have started just throwing the tree early on me now. i usually wait till the other guy staged and then start boosting, creep forward and full stage, but they have started thro the lights before i get full staged now. its crap!

Yeah i hit the lockup a little early in the first run and bogged it.

Did you hit it just after the 1-2 shift or was that still 1st gear?
