My New Commander mount.. What do you Think??

Well I hated the commander a-pillar mount need room for my quad a-pillar mount so I got to tinkering this weekend and came up with this.. I really like it but the cables aren't long enough so I am goona have to contact quad and see what I can do to get some longer cables... Give me your opinions and thoughts.... Obviously the cables aren't going to hang there but I was just using the commander for mock up purposes!!

What about on top of the steering console? I have my outlook there, and I used my outlook mount for the commander next to the a-pillar.

It's too big... In my opinion it takes up most of the panel!

I would have like to put it there but you can't see any of the guages from the factory.. I guess that is the upside to the outlook. It's small enough to fit there..

I have an off the way idea... The mounts for the Outlook are basically rearview mirror mounts... What if you put one in the top left corner of your windshield with the mount attached to the pillar? Might work, plus you rcable would be long enough! Just an idea! it would be less obtrusive then the way I have mine installed, should not make such a big blind spot!
