Nathan's twin kits are top-notch, yours looks great! I like how you removed the battery and tray for the install. Thatt opens it up quite a bit!

Nice install!!! pics. My wifgave me the go ahead on buying twins. I can't wait. So does it drive (Boost, Spool up,Egt's)? What kinda boost is your bottom charger making, boost wise? I'm going with the 80mm S-400 to keep things cool.

Not sure on the bottom charger yet. I've got a second boost gauge on the way so I should know next week. I just put the first 100 "easy" miles on it. I hammered it a few times after that and my wife actually got scared. I need to play with the wastegate on the 62 a little more and do some fine tuning but I cannot wait to get it on the rollers to see where I'm at.

I've gone mudding and thrashed around in mine quite a bit. Filter looks just fine. If you're worried about it you could fab up a plate to protect the filter. Wouldnt be too tough.

on my truck... zip under all conditions (winter, summer, cold idle, hot idle, WOT) according to a mechanical oil pressure gauge tapped off of the oil filter head

Mine gets very, very minor amounts of road spray, especially in the winter so I run an AFE pre-filter. I think this summer I will fab a deflector plate as you suggested or perhaps get a small elbow to point the filter upwards some. However, I think as it's located now ensures the biggest possible AFE filter that can fit in there short of removing the battery. If Nathan made it so that the filter pointed upwards, we probably wouldn't have any clearance with the hood and would be forced to use a short AFE filter. My previous BD twins were like this and then the filter was so undersized for the job.

I started will smaller filters and it causes the bigger chargers to leak oil through the front oil seal if they aren't perfectly clean. They use to point towards the hood behind the headlight.

Looks good Shane. Let me know if you need help tuning.

Thanks Nathan, will do.

I have noticed the filter gets a little warm but it should be fine. I think I'm gonna get a pre-filter to keep it a little cleaner.

I have a pre-filter here that works for them. The part number is 28-10144. Be ready for sticker shock when you buy one. They shocked me.

I expected the $37 pre filter. What shocked me was the $9.00 shipping charge...
