My mileage #s w/ Quads Race box.....
I haven't towed with it yet but that will come in the near future. My numbers are as follows. My mods are in the sig. All numbers are sitting in DC traffic about 70% of the time and just normal traffic the rest with just a little highway time. I ran for about 5 days on each setting with the last one being the worst to deal with!!
60 hp 14.6 mpg
100 hp 15.8 mpg
140 hp 14.6 mpg
Stock 16.1 mpg
I'll bet you can guess where I'll be running it most of the time.....

Well, I drove around the way I normally do this past week on level 100 and my mileage this time was a mere 13.8!! That sucks! That is by far the worst mileage this truck has ever gotten. I was below 1/4 tank at 380 miles.. I guess I'll have to run it stock and just turn it on as needed until fuel comes back down to $1.00 a gallon..

That sucks man. I got 16.5 pulling a 7500lb load with mine on the 60hp setting. Wonder why your mileage sucks so bad. I would be pretty Edit if I was getting that low with out having a house behind me.

I'm happy for you guys. SOs tend to get better mileage than HOs but not mine with this box.
I will say this though. I decided that I would not stand there for 15 minutes filling up each time so what I did was use the slowest automatic setting on the pump. Once it clicked off, I pumped 2 more gallons and stopped. Now, all the pumps seemed to flow about the same but I did use a different fuel station each time I filled up. Yesterday, after I followed the same procedure, I decided to fill it all the way up and it took 5 more gallons! Usually it would only take about 3-4 more after the click. So my last fill up may have bubbled up more and clicked off sooner causing me to think my mileage was higher for that tank but also making this tank not last as long. Am I making sense?
Anyways, I lost 2 mpg with the EZ and it looks like it's the same or worse with this box but the truck flies now so I just have to live with it. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't. Sometimes you win but you use more fuel!
The box still kicks butt!!!!!!
By the way, that's the kind of mileage I was getting while towing my trailer around with the EZ on level 4! I hope it's just a fluke!!

Just got 19.1 on my last tank, but I must be very easy on the pedal to get that. Tried not to go over 75 mph and kept ETG's at 800* or less. I was on the 60 hp setting on the whole tank & unloaded. will do more testing on the 100 hp setting. I'm starting to sacrifice the fun (pedal mashing) for better MPG.

My truck seems to get better mileage the harder I run it. I've had to be at work early all week so naturally I've been leaving at the last second. Hammer down the whole way. I filled up this morning and went 510 miles on 25 gallons. Just a tad over 20mpg. **** I love this truck.

That's with a mix of the 60 and 100hp setting. Racing anyone that gets between me and point b.

Just filled up today and got 19.114 MPG (overhead says 20.5) hand calc'd running the 30 HP setting. My mileage went up, but not by much .5-1 MPG. I generally run 60/40 hwy/city
It is really hard to maintain you old driving style after putting in one of these boxes. Most people can't resist the power and really lean into the accelerator more than they did before. The change in driving styles is probably the #1 reason people do not see increases in MPG.

Capp35, I agree. Based on feedback from Quad, I was expecting the best MPG to be in the 60HP setting. Right now, I've got 2 tanks of 60 HP, 3 tanks of 30 HP and 30 HP is getting a slight edge. I'm currently on my 3 tank of 60hp. We shall see how it goes.
I don' thave an EGT guague yet, so I don't dare run it on the 100 HP setting.
