Muffler delete for stock exhaust?
Ditto. I had it done at a local muffler shop for $60 out the door. I was worried that it would be too loud, but it really sounds good. Yes, I my Mega has the resonator just in front of the rear axle. They had the 4" pipe that I needed. No kit, just cut the muffler off and replaced it with a pipe they bent to fit. No tip, I will leave that to the ricers...
My wife hasn't even noticed yet! hahahahaha

I ordered the MBRP muffler delete pipe from the DTR store and was just going to install it when in noticed it wasn't offset like the muffler is, has anyone installed the MBRP muffler delete pipe? if so how did it work out?
...cut it out!
I got tired of fighting with the clamp indented pipe; so I just slashed it off w/ my recip. saw and left it @ that. Maybe in the future, I'll install a 5" Hushpower. By the time the exhaust fights it's way through the turbo and the cat, it really isn't all that noisy.
I removed my muffler and left the cat for a few years, not to bad... then my cat ran off and I tried it like that for a few months...., imo straight piped is way to loud especially pulling a trailer. I ordered a 30" resonator from fte diesel and I could not be happier, almost straight piped, no drone whatsoever, and alot quieter inside and outside the cab. just my
