mud flaps.....don't want, but need!
I removed the molded factory style mud flaps and installed a set of ATS fender flares. The flares look great "naked", but unfortuneatly I travel a lot of dirt and gravel roads. For those with Flares and mud flaps, what do you recommend? Just a heavy universal flap?
Dont know how it would look but Im thinking about putting flares on mine.
Iv got the factory mud flaps and was thinking about trimming the flares so the flaps would fit in the orginal position.

I just put a set of universal mud flaps (extra wide) on after installed my fender flares. I was worried about the look, but after they looked fine. Of course, the 6 inch exhaust tip is what most people comment on first...
Go to the local truck shop and purchase 2 big rig flaps, cut them down the center, measure desired length and cut, add anti-sail weights, bolt thru fender well. The rear ones will need notched a little to fit up in the wheel well. All for the cost of <$50. They stop everything and keep the truck clean!
