MPG and Train Horn
Just got back from Tampa, FL., and only had to fill-up twice. Not bad for mileage IMO. While I was down there, there were guys who had installed train horns on their trucks. Does anyone know where you can find these and how easy are they to install? They sound way better than a semi horn. Thanks.

you can find them all over the place on e-bay. That will be your cheapest route. Other places like www.hornblasters.com you can find them but are expensive
Camping World has the cheapest price I've been able to find on the Bradley Bully horn. They are fairly easy to install. But finding a spot is the big problem. The bully horns are not show pieces they are hidden under the hood somewhere. I removed the driver side front fender well cover and managed to install the horns up top between the frame and fender. I then installed the small air tank right behind the driver side fog lamp and the compressor right near the tank. The horn is also on the driver side which you have to tap into. Once you replace the fender well nothing can be seen unless you climb underneath.
I checked out ebay, they were selling this horn for $89.95 here

and had a audio clip here

The first URL has a good picture.

Ideas ?
I have the Hammer 4's. I love it, I baought a 2 gallon tank for about $40, and a cheap $60 150psi 1.3 CFM 12V air compressor from Harbor Freight. Their tools are not the greatest but I got the 2 year serivce plan with and they dont ask any questions when you return, (of course there are 2 of there stores near me). I accidentally forgot I turned the compressor on and got my tank up to 160psi, it broke the piston.
I mounted the tank under the bed, compressor in the tool box, air horns under the hood (fit like a glove on the passanger side) and a home made gauge and switch panel in the truck. I also installed a check valve to keep air from draining back out the compressor, it would not hold pressure for long before that. This weekend I am installing a pressure switch to prevent me from blowing up any more compressors. Other than that I can't complain about for the price. Just like the Viair compressors only made with cheap parts. Might as well keep using it until I decide to spend $300 on a Viair.
Pretty happy with it, made it an onboard air type system with a air chuck out the tool box to fill up tires, air mattresses when camping and all that. Pretty handy.
I can try to post pictures this weekend if any one cares.

air system pics
Here are som pics I took this weekend while I was installing my gauges.
Here is a pic of the horns, do not be fooled by the picture, there are 4 air horns there look closely.

The air tank is mounted passanger side under the bed

Then fed from a manifold I mounted on the side of the tool box that has a connection for air hose, the pressure switch, and the compressor feeds into the manifold.

Then my elcheapo compressor in the tool box ran by a toggle switch in the cab with a little pressure gauge
