First, you can plug in the Juice or mp8 first it doesn't matter - at least not on my truck.

Second, this stack works very well together. I made 502/1170 with Hot Juice, mp-8, and A3k.

Third, the control **** does adjust fueling - NO QUESTION! I can turn the **** while driving and feel the difference as well as watch the rail gauge change accordingly.

Fourth, the mp8 doesn't do boost fooling(at least mine doesn't), but the Juice does as long as you have a newer version than 1.1.

Well, this is off TS' website...do I guess the MP8 does do boost fooling...great now I need a mechanical Boost gauge...

"Question: How does the MP-8 make 100hp+ without raising rail pressure beyond factory specs?

Answer: The Mp-8 is the only box on the market of it’s kind. Both the map sensor and the fuel pressure sensor are fully programmable. By reprogramming the map sensor signal you achieve several things… 1) since the map senor thinks it is at different boost level it will add injection timing accordingly. 2) This is the primary reason we don’t have to raise rail pressure beyond factory specs and risk damaging engines"

I'd call and ask them if you really want to know. That statement is pretty vague. As I said... It doesn't work on my truck but may not have a problem with the older ones.

Yeah I was thinking that...I know the 07s and the 04.5s are a little different but I will call to double check..

I believe it mainly adds rail pressure. when you install it turn the **** down all the way off when you are going to start it. dont run it at 100%. start out low and go from there. a rail pressure box is good for short runs I think. I dont run mine on all the time just when I need to. the mp8 didnt work good for me, but you may have alot better luck with an older trk

I know on my Attitude monitor as soon as the mp-8 is on, the boost reading through the data link will not read over 22 psi. I confirmed it with my Modis scanner. I also know it makes the juice on #1 a lot more responsive with the mp-8 at 5-10% My rail pressure gauge also moves according to the mp-8 setting. This is all on a 05 for what it is worth.

Was that before or after the CP3 mods and injectors?

Stock injectors. Original stage 1 cp3 which was basically opening up the fca and rotor housing. My current stage 1 cp3 has more done to it than that. I don't think the cp3 was needed at that point, I wanted to do it for future mods and it happened to be leaking. We changed it out before we dynoed it. As soon as we got those numbers, we both agreed we should have dynoed it before we did the cp3 and both agreed it would have put down the same or very close numbers.

With injectors and current cp3 I should be well beyond that 502. Going to play on the dyno on Sunday with some different combos(Diablo, Smarty, Dr. P, etc.) and hope to break 600 - actually hoping for 600 without adding any of those. I have the fueling for it, just not sure if the A3k will move enough air to get her there. Assuming my new job I start on Monday (commission) goes well, next spring I will be doing compound turbos and I know it will break 600 with nothing more than what's currently in my sig.

Oh wow impressive numbers man! Best of luck with the new job and hope you can get cracking on those twins! What would you do for twins? A3k/A5k or would you try something else?

Gonna run an s400 on the bottom and I need to talk to Nathan further about choosing the A3k or a stocker for the top. It's really not intended to be so I can make a bunch of power. What I am after is a set up that will be good for driving and towing with around 600hp, but still easily support that 600-650hp for the occasional - or more than occasional - butt kickin'.

That may be an option. When you're ready to do a turbo, send me a pm and we'll see where I'm at in pursuing my compounds.

Wow, we got way off topic here.

the reason that the mp8 hooks to the map sensor is due to the fact that the Mp-8 gives the computer an elevated boost reading to get the ECM to fuel sooner and it clamps as others have said to keep from throwing boost codes.

As to the Rail pressure it does go higher than 27K#, 27K# is the factory RP sensor's saturation point( it can't read any higher). I can reach the saturation point @ 30% on the MP-8!

Ok, my TS Ramifier should be hear and TS just sent me the install instructions...just like you fine people described but I noticed one thing different. Forgive my ignorance but do I HAVE to disconnect the batteries or is that just for them to cover themselves? I mean I have picked up windshield wipers that tell you to disconnect the batteries. So is this necessary or just them covering themselves? Thanks!
