MP-8 vs Dr. Performance
I have used both and I only use them for compition only as I am not a big fan of alot of pressure. I use a custom tune from Dr. Performance and on the dyno it makes the power come on a little sooner and hold it longer in the power. It doesn't do it much but it is about 8 hp more than the MP8 on my truck.
At the level my truck is now the pressure boxes only have a small gain as the Smarty (beta) adds a little pressure already so it doesn't show a huge gain. But with large injectors and what not I like the rail pressure up when I am pulling so I add the box then. I have seen the rail guage pin the 30K with the Dr. P box but it is a little less with the MP8.

I am not so sure this not sort of an urban legend??
I know in the last month there was a dyno day where our pressure only tuning made considerably more power with a Smarty than any other stack.
With the new X2 stuff I am pretty sure nothing else is close. Built in Rail gauge and the ability to change tuning makes it a phenominal stacking product.

We have different versions of pressure only tunes.
If you have the Race module you can download the Race stacking tune and it has 6 levels of pressure and a rail gauge. The higher levels are about as good as you can do in any stack and in some cases it is to much.
You cannot get 180rwhp from pressure only.

That sounds like you guys have things dialed in. I might have to try that on my next time dyno tuning. I am looking at over a 1000hp on the bottle and over 800 on #2.
I know you can't get 180 hp from pressure only. Heck I only get about 29 hp over all with a pressure box. I did test one of the XTZ with pressure only but the numbers werent there.

Don't take any of that as a slight to you Quad... I have great respect for your products and service and I have pitched and recommended any number of your products too and will, I'm certain, be buying one of yours at some point too.
