MP-8 Question

Does anyone know for sure if an MP-8 modifies the duration at all or just pressure? I have one on the way for a stack and wanted to make sure it isn't doing the same things my other two boxes do. Thanks

The MP-8 is pressure only.

Boost fooling and pressure...it is the ticket in every stack...as long as it is not with another pressure box!

And the MP-8's boost fooling is the best in the business, as long as it's plugged into the MAP sensor first. Gets your timing/duration box to fuel RIGHT NOW!

Why is it that no one (that I have seen anyway) runs the mp8 on max when stacked with tst?

I think because the rail runs dry.

I said tst on max but went back and changed it to mp8. Too much pressure is what I kinda thought.

I have turned my mp8 all the way up with tst on 6/1 and 6/2 and have not run my rail dry yet.

I just got the MP-8 in today and the install was easy. I have not had it on the road to know how it will act but I thought that the Bullydog Downloader did pressure and the guys at TS said that stack was great. The other box I am running is a duration only VanAken 3.2. I will see how it goes but I hope they all work well together. I have a long trip towing to Georgia this weekend so I should know by the time I get back if they are all compatable.

The mp8 is smooooooth. But it gets hotter than my tst does. The bd is timin and durration so I dont know how the va will play, may be awsome, who knows. I think the bd on tow and adjust your mp8 as high as your egt and trans/clutch will let you.

No more than 50% on the MP-8...Tow on the Bully Dog...and try the 50% setting on the VA. 100% on the VA will be too hot.

I have towed with this setup on BDDL Performance setting, 100% on the VA and 1/4 turn on the MP-8. I am now going to run it on the Exreme BDDL and keep the others the same and see what happens. The only problem so far has been the turbo fluttering and sometimes just loosing boost, it's like it cant keep up, and I have never had this problem until I installed the MP-8.

could I use a mp-8 with my stuff,, keep in mind that I am not going to use the bd anymore,, I think that I am going to replace it with the predator
