You have to have the one and a million stock CP3...lol! I could not do anymore than 575 after a year of tuning.

But that was stock sticks...

I rolled 610ish with Flux 3.3's and a OEM cp3 while I was waiting for my evil twins...on 30-40 hp less than my Stage 2 pump. It took awhile to tune it...had to save the fuel for the top end!

How safe is it to run a stock cp3 with a lift pump and DDP 90's? I have intake exhaust and stack and have been looking at those sticks......How safe is it with the stock cp3 and stock trans? Asking for problems?

Without trans work..you are on borrowed time if you drive like a bat out of hell.

If you drive it but not beat on it, it will last a while...but in the end you are going to need a trans.

I am not too sure about weather or not its safe for a stock Cp3...I am running them and my Cp3 seems to be doing very well. No unusual noises or problems.

585hp is a lot too. I'm sure with my setup I'm only in the 415 range. With the 90's maybe close to 500hp, I also have a 6" lift and 37's so I'm sure with that too the stock cp3 might be tapped out lol

With Smarty Jr and 90's, you should still be good. The 37's only hurt acceleration but dont tax the pump any more than a stock truck. Its more about programming and how it works. A set-up with alot of duration can drain the rail faster than a lower duration program with added pressure. A Smarty Jr, 90 DDP, and MP-8 stack should work wonders for your truck. Provided though that you get some trans work done first.

stock 06 pump, s300/s400 twins with a set of flux 4.3's. The pump has not been swapped for a modded pump yet since the owner wants to go duals very soon. It was rolled on a dynojet 248H at the Carlisle All Truck Nationals.

Got to love the FLUX's...

Try to tune that with another stick!

My other truck made 550ish with SMALLER than stock Flux's and a 62/65/14 and a stock CP3. Was out of turbo!

I did 580.74 H.P./1030 TQ. with my 2006 Dodge CTD CR, 4X4, Auto with a stock fuel system, stock injectors and a stock CP-3. I do have a Schwitzer 62/12 Turbo on the truck and have the TST-PM3 with R-49 and a Smarty Programmer with an older 4.10 Beta Program. My dyno run was made on a "Dynojet 248" and the settings on the Smarty was Level #8, with the TST set on 3/1.

What you have to remember in all this is that the cp3 is designed to use some of the fuel to cool and lubricate. If you have it completely maxed out, it is sending all the fuel to the rail and there is no excess flow for any other purpose.

I did the DIY mods to mine and with stock sticks and whats in my sig ran a 12.92 quarter. The truck weighed in at about 7500 so that calculates to a good 600+ at the wheels.
