More lift or more hp?

I am thinking of lifting my truck some more. Nothing big just a 4.5" kit with 35s. Either way I will be runnin 35s unless I get the 4.5" kit and then I MIGHT run 37s but I really dont want to lose anymore speed than I have too.

OR, I could just keep on saveing and buy some more go fast parts. Mainly injectors and cp3 along with some other odds and ins. But I am gettin new tires soon and was just thinkin about throwin some more lift on her.

What do yall think?

A bigger lift won't make you go faster!

I have never been a fan of lifting my truck... I do not like the way that lifted trucks handle, and the BS problems that come with a lifted truck. I have 35's on my truck now, next time I am going back down to 33's.

I do appeciate a nice lifted truck, tho. I think that they look good with the correct tire/rim package, bad with too small/thin tires.

Just my 0.02.

This is a question I have asked my self often. Should I realy have lifted it or should I have dumped money into the engine/drivetrain, ect.

Since I thought my truck looked hideous in the stock suspension form when I bought it, one of the first things I did to it was put on a moderate sized lift & tires to accomidate it. Yea there are times when I wish I would of spent the $1500 or so on a couple of other goodies but then I always think how ugly it was when it was stock.

What kind of a lift would you be looking into? Some kits are real simplistic and others can get real deep(component wise & wallet wise) . I guess it's real a personal prefference. Do I want to look different going down the street or do I want to go down the street with both tires smoking.

I'd say go for both.

If I lift it it will be a 4.5" tuff country with biltiens and when time and $ permits (and if I feel it necessary) I will swap out the springs for some of Dons and maybe an adjustable track bar too.

The thing is I can do this cheap where the next step for me in hp is gona cost me 4-5k.

Just gettin some ideas and thanks guys for your input.

And Nate-03, it is 4 tires smokin on my truck...

Phil if you dont mind (shoot me a pm if you want) give me some feed back on you injectors and cp3. That is one option I was lookin at and I have spoken with Bobby about it.

I guess I will get my new shoes then go from there, but yeah, its lookin like I may just man up and do more fuel.

I asked myself the same question, should lift it or more power. I chose.... both Although I did sacrifice alot of power going with the lift and 37's, there's nothing like cruising around in a lifted truck. With my setup I'm making great power. Enough power to smoke just about anybody who wants to race, while at the same looking great while doing it.

Nothin beats more power!
