Increase Diesel Fuel Economy

Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no way this will work.

As I see it, the cummins is direct injection for each cylinder, not to mention the air goes through the intercooler.

I just hate to see people paying for this <edit>, and getting taken.

Well, that is the sad part, there are people bidding on this <edit>. <edit>, I've even sent emails to them explaining why it won't work.

I hate thieves.

WOW that's 5 edits in 3 posts.

Are you trying for a record?

Perhaps a review is in order...........

Hmm, it's not intentional, just not thinking clearly.

But, if you feel a review is in order, be my guest.

I actually have one of these and it increased my mileage to 100mpg. and thats in town!!!!! i have yet to try it out on then highway...i imagine i will see about 130mpg highway. it paid for itself in less than 1 mile. I ask you where else could you find a product that does all this for only 16 bucks? maybe on the moon???

Well, that would be a really big problem. The CMAA is a buddy of mine (including a riding buddy), and I think the chit would mysteriously disappear.

Not to mention, potty-mouth doesn't begin to cover it. It's hard to believe that with my level of education, that most of the time I resort to short 4-5 letter words. OTOH, most of the people that I work with or near don't understand me if I use words in excess of 4-5 letters.

Being an old school grumpy sailor doesn't help much either.

I have less than 2 years left, so I can relate. What/where do you ride? Ocotillo?

I could possibly see how it works, it would be installed pre-turbo and it works by creating a vortex...things move much easier, smoother and faster in a vortex (think of a tornado or when you drain the bath tub) It would make it easier for the turbo to get air and then the turbo would pressurize the air easier....since the turbo is still going to be working as hard a normal and is getting air easier.....it will pull more air in....making more boost....more boost = less unburnt fuel = more effiecency.

I did notice how the ad only mentioned gas and not diesel. From what I have read those type of devices have improved power and effiecency on gasoline engines.

On the other hand....it could be a total rip-off.

The heading on the ad says "diesel". I don't think I would trust it, just because of who's selling it.

Actually, you have a review of the rules that you agreed to when you registered here would be nice. I suggest you read them thoroughly. Pay particular attention to the section of the rules on profanity on our site, because it is not tolerated here.
