OK, Boys let see how many will be truthful and let me know what type of mods you have and more importantly has anything Failed/ Voided Warranty?

I would love to get a box but i am scared straight with some of the posts i've read about voiding warranty killing tranny etc...

 

(in my best Jack Nicholson voice) you want the truth??? you can't handle the truth!!!!

I will give it to you straight, repeat after me..."I am my OWN warranty station" Give Chrysler a reason to void the warranty and they will. Having said that, many dealers are in fact Performance friendly.

It is up to you now to decide the value of the performance vs the loss of your warranty. I know this does little to help you feel better about that extra HP you want, but it is straight shooting as I see it.

 

Warranty voiding mods:

2" Daystar Leveling Kit - Voided warranty repair on stabilizer link rods- Ok with me.

AFE Magnum Force air intake and Torque Tube - Pretty sure this would probably void anything in the air flow behind it for one reason or another.

Dr Performance Stage II pressure box. Took it off because I did not like the way the truck idled and ran. Had #6 injector replaced after under warranty.

Quad XZillaraider Race box - I am pretty sure this voided my engine and drive train, never had the opportunity to find out.

Edge Juice w/Attidute - I am pretty sure this voided my engine and drive train, never had the opportunity to find out.

Edge HOT Juice w/Attitude - I have decided that this does void my engine and drive train warranty. All future engine and drive train problems will be handled by Michael @ www.hotroddiesels.com and paid for with my DODGE RAM Visa Rewards card. At least I will have enough rewards for free oil changes as long as I want.

Complete TC/Transmission upgrade - Warranty by me.

BFG 315/70R/17 All-Terrain T/A KOs - Voided brake and ABS warranty.

So far the only failure/cost has been the replacement of the two stabilizer link rods that I bent.

When I am done I hope most of the stock pieces are replaced with performance pieces. That will be at my expense and pleasure .

Superchips downloader,exaust,downpipe = Two blown auto trannys 69,000 mi.

01 Dodge cummins
Diesel dynamics box, K&N drop in, summit racing exaust = 1 clutch at 70,000mi
Lift pump was going at 98,000 mi.

So I traded it on my 05

05 Dodge cummins
AFE stage 2, Eadge box with attitude, Planning on muffler shortly
Sirius radio
And my favorite 4 opening doors and it was quiet in the cab till I did the AFE

Problems after 6,500 mi. = 000.0

 

Stacks- Exhaust warranty gone
intake silencer ring and crosshairs removed w/AFE drop-in filter- engine warranty is questionable
TST PMCR killed clutch paid for by me-warranty on drivetrain gone, just hasn't been voided
TAD B1-04 same as above
Skyjacker D25 coils/35 12.5 R17 BFG Mud Terrains- front suspension warranty is questionable-Dealer replaced balljoints,tierods, and steering gearbox(warrantied)

Otherwise dealer hasn't touched my truck since the suspension work and dealer won't be touching it anytime soon.

 

nothing with that should void your engine warrenty... both are just silencing devices
