How many mile should I put on my truck truck before I can start driving it hard. Also how many miles should I have around before I plug in a programmer on it.

 

My buddy has an 04.5 and he left the dealership with a BRAND NEW TRUCK loaded with 25k in trailers from 10 miles and drove 1200 miles. Hes done the same thing ever since hot shotting his truck and now has 250k on the clock and runs like a scalded beast and gets better milage than anyone I know.

My 04.5 had a powerpup at 8000 miles and my 06 has a juice kit since 2000 miles and now at 11k. I dont wait, drive it like you stole it.

 

I started towing right off and never babied mine. Edge at about 6,000 miles replaced it with BullyDog at about 16,000 have 25,000 now.

 

I hit maybe 1200 miles before installing the Bully Dog ( I tried to wait, didn't work ) I Did NOT go out and full-out stomp on it though until about 3k, just what I did.
