Miles with a pressure box

I have been running the sixgun for around 5 thousand miles, and love the way it runs....perfect for what I wanted or needed. My concern is the impact it has on injectors. So you guys that have been running a pressure box, How many miles have you ran it? Thanks

We know pressure boxes can shorten the life of the injectors. How long is depending on amount of pressure being used. Used mildly shouldn't be an issue. (Famous last words)

130,000+ w/ pressure boxes.......I'm still on stock original sticks, but I sure don't want to jinx myself. My 1st was an EZ, then a Banks 6gun w/ spd ldr, then the 1st quad box, then a quad race, and now the X2. I did get 2 micron filtration at about 50000-60000 miles and I think this helps keep injectors alive regardless of fuel pressure.

50k with Quad XZT. Looking back I would have made a different purchase but it does well for what it is. Idle isnt as smooth when running it.

I've also got about 50k miles using pressure, 40k of those with a sixgun and the rest with a MP-8.

According to Don M. you want to make sure that rail pressure at cruise is under 20k psi and preferably around 17k psi. Of course to measure it you need a gauge, unless the newer six-guns have provisions for reading rail pressure.

Mine is/has always been between 16-18K while crusing Highways with pressure from either a Puck, Predator, Hot Juice, X2, or a Smarty. I have had some kind of pressure for the last 20K miles, and have seen/felt no issues thus far.

I have been running a quad standard box for well over 80 000 kms. Yes I have had to have 2 injectors replaced but I was on a road trip when they went and I think I got a bad load of fuel. They both went at the same time. No problems since.

Until yesterday I had an Edge EZ installed on mine for over three years and over 65,000 miles. It has been normally stacked with something else and has always been on Level 1 at least. You can't turn the EZ off on 04.5 and up without uninstalling.

I removed it to see how the Smarty TNT will do on its own. I have new injectors going in hopefully this coming week. The old ones will go to Don and I am sure if they are damaged I will know.

85,000 on mine, put on the Edge EZ (level 4) @ less then 800 miles, switched to the Ramifier (MP-8) at about 35K, and still going strong... Never had an injector problem, or any fueling issues...

What RP numbers (cruising and WOT) are you seeing with your MP-8? Is it safe to say that pressure boxes for 2003-2004 are very different from pressure boxes for 2004.5-2007? Just looking at the Edge EZ, the power levels are totally different.

EZ for 2003-2004:
Level 1: 40 Horsepower - 150 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 2: 50 Horsepower - 180 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 3: 60 Horsepower - 200 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 4: 70 Horsepower - 220 Foot Pounds of Torque

EZ for 2004.5-2007:
Level 1: 25 Horsepower - 50 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 2: 45 Horsepower - 75 Foot Pounds of Torque
Level 3: 65 Horsepower - 150 Foot Pounds of Torque
