Mickey Thompson Cepek Claw radial?

Anyone run these tires? I was thinking Of putting these on my stock wheels size 33x12.50. It looks like a pretty nice tire but I'm worried they'd be really loud. I can handle some noise but I dont want to howl down the road.

I have heard that the Claws are a little scary in wet (rainy) conditions. Not much life in them, longevity wise on a lite weight Toyota Tacoma. I would think that the weight of the Ram would eat em up pretty quick.

The Goodyear MTR's are a good looking tire, though a little pricey. Don't know if they make a 17". I also saw the Ram with the Swamper Truxus 17's, those looked real good. I would worry about the Swamper in the rain though, not much tread hitting the pavement. Can't comment on life expectantcy on the Truxus.

Just my .02

Thanks for the reply. I'm also considering the GY MT/R's but the Claws look really tough IMO.

I am running the Goodyears and I think about 22 k is all they will be good for. I have about 15 k on them and they are way over half worn out. My Best friend is running the Claws on a Hemi truck but early gueses are only about 19-20 k on a much lighter truck.

PS Check the load rating on the 33's as they are only rated for 2600 lbs per tire, not enough in my opinion.

Don't bother unless you like replacing tires. Buddy of mine has them on an 02. He might get 12K out of them if he is lucky. He is very **** about tire pressures and rotations and doesn't abuse them at all. Awesome tire, but lousy wear and a bit loud on the road.

Your choice though.
