May be a dumb thread but i have a ???

Anyways I bought my 2004.5 ram diesel used. Its very clean under the hood but I noticed 1 thing under the hood. I noticed that theres like 4 or 5 relays everywhere not in fuse panels. They dont look factory either. I cant tell what they do or where they go? anyways ill take pics tommorrow but does any1 have pics of their truck under the hood ?(preferrably driver side fender and firewalla rea?) When i look at other peoples pictires I dont see any relays. I dont even have aftermarket fog lights so im clueless. Would one be for the lift pump in fuel tank update? because my truck doesnt have a filter mounted lift pump. its back in the tank i think.

Yes, one relay will be for the in tank LP if yours has been upgraded.

Stock I had no external relays in my drivers side engine bay. Now it's a different story. I have three or four. Maybe the previous owner had some stuff he removed but left the relays intact?

Take a picture and post that... My 03 has a few exposed relays, including the one for the in-tank lift pump.

The one at the rear of the eng compartment looks like the one for the in-tank lift pump kit. There is an aftermarket "hood-ajar" switch beside it that looks like it belongs to a remote starter. The wiring draped over the fuel filter housing also belongs to the in-tank lift pump. Not sure about the other relay towards the front, but it's definitely not factory.
