I just hooked up my gauges and I get 24 psi at WOT with the Edge on level 4.
I have the boost elbow from Edge, is it safe to install it without hurting the turbo ?
What should I see with the elbow installed ? A few more psi ? Maybe 27 psi ?

I get 30psi on level 4 with no boost elbow. Might want to double check your connections.

 

24 PSI sounds right. My 04 will only get up to around 25 at WOT. The elbow will give you an increase to around the 29 to 30 mark. The waste gate on our trucks open at 25 or 26 PSI and we will get an over boost code if we go over 29 or 30. With that said the EZ has a boost fooler an would tell the ECM that you are with the factory settings , thus you would not see an over boost code with it connected.

Our turbos are designed to run in the 30 - 35 PSI range. Once you get over that the efficency of the turbo goes way down, and could result in a shorter life span for the turbo.
