Marco or Bob, REVOlution Suggestions

Marco or Bob, I have one suggestion that others may also like for the REVOlution, how about another choice for the rpm limiter, add 3500 for the guys that want more revs than stock but not the full blown 4 grand. Thanks for your consideration. Jay

The Revo standard tune does that already on the higher settings.
Wait, let me spell this different. The standard tunes for Smarty like the ones on our website have done that for a long time.

How about a "smoke switch" on or off.
No fuel duration adjustment?

I've already PM'd Marco with my suggestion..

That the new Revolution Software have an Overdrive Lockout option for the 05 Trucks..

He said that... If the DRB scantool can do it why not Smarty??

That's awesome.. I like that attitude!!

Let me know what the rest of you think..

Umm yeah.... and when your foot is to the floor, the truck shifts at top rpm. Mine still does it at 3200, not 3500.

Mine doesn't...runs all the way up in higher gears...maybe not first.

Most likely a VB adjustment...since 1-3 is NOT electronic.

The shift may not be electronic, but obviously the trigger for the shift is, otherwise it would shift at whatever rpm we chose. I don't think it can be set up in the VB. If it could, we wouldn't need the 4k rpm tune, it would simply just be a VB adjustment. When you're WOT, there has to be some kind of ecm input to tell the tranny to shift because you've achieved maximum rpm.

the 4k tunes keeps the fuel coming till 4000 rpm's otherwise it defuels early and you couln't get it to rev over 3500.
