Holy crap are the garages low

The garage I will be using daily for parking work is 6'4", so airing down tires would be a pain in the rear.
I looked into the Kelderman suspension and I would be better off financially by selling the truck and buying it back in a few years. (I do like the idea of the air ride though).
Actually here on Maui, I haven't seen a parking garage that wasn't at or near 7'.
Maui has the highest population of lifted vehicles and some of the tallest vehicles I've ever seen. I even know of a lifted mini-van.
It's just Honolulu that's the problem, it's too crammed together. I don't want to move.

Can't modify the parking garage without a concrete demo saw and lots of police (it is a public parking garage).

I think you are on to something. Honolulu has a huge Japanese population, and Japanese cars aren't tall... Total discrimination!

#1- I vote for choping the top, put in lower seats etc to fit sitting upright.

#2- Don't move.

#3 Sell the truck and get a TDI jetta for your diesel addiction.

Haven't thought about #1. Can somebody photochop a QC SB with 315 on H2's and a chopped top? I'll add that one to my collection.

Nice!! #2 and #3 have had considerable thought put to them. My wife would really like for us to move back to Colorado where a 2000 square foot house doesn't cost $1.5 million because we want to be able to own a house again. (yea, Maui is expensive!) Unfortunately, I love my wife and my company and Oahu will be our next stop or bust! (I told her that my pay is less in Colorado and I would have to sell her car if we moved back... she loves her car)
#3 I actually looked at a Diesel Jetta (it was a new 06 with 10 dealership miles) about a month ago. I went back yesterday to look again and the dealership went out of business.. Guess that wasn't a good plan.

We got the truck finished. We were only able to trim 3" out of the front and 8 in the back. Unfortunately that is still going to be too high for you. At 3" there was nothing more we could get out of the front end.

If I could only get the vehicle to lower to fit into parking garages, then lift to drive around. (Maybe even get the front end to bounce..... J/K)

Seriously now, is there an air-ride suspension for the Ram diesels that replaces the front springs with air bags that can be deflated?

I may be wrong, but I believe your only gonna lower it 3 inches with those tires...not 6. You can't count the top of the tire, since your not sitting on it.

I think you misunderstood, or I wasn't very clear (I was combining suspension drop with smaller tires to get a total drop of 6").* 6" shorter tires equates to 3" shorter stance. If I am also able to include 3" of suspension drop with 3" of tire drop I would be able to lower the front of the vehicle a total of 6" at the most.Unfortunately the vehicle hits the bumpstops if I lower the suspension by 3".* Hitting a bump when resting on a bumpstop is like....** * ...it hurts....
