EGT's are probably climbing slower because boost is coming in slower due to the exhaust restriction

Spool up is still really good on the bottom end but it does spool up a bit slower when mashing the go-pedal at cruising speed...

She still rips **** from a dead stop....did a 10 PSI boosted launch earlier today and she's still got it Thats with the Bully Dog on Tow/Economy and the EZ on level 2....puts a smile on my face. Plus its quiet!!

i forgot which one i bought, ill crawl under it and tell yall, i will say it is the one with the cone baffle in the inlet mainly because i didnt want a loud truck. i am debating taking it off, my EGTs get a little toasty when i stand on it. 1600 is no problem for me to achieve. so i would say M090535, it is straight through with Dba of 12-17 and has the highest flow numbers out off all of their 5" series.

Huh? More restrictive exhaust lowers EGTs?

Maybe I should shove a potato up my pipe?

I didn't say lower, I said climbing slower... most programs add more fuel as boost increases... slower spooling turbo = slower fueling increase... just takes longer for everything to happen.

My EGTs basically stayed the same, no change there. It is a straight-thru muffler...

I didn't notice a difference, as a matter of fact I thought it did better than with my straight through dynomax. It may be the lack of intense noise making it "feel" slower.
