I went with 6%, as for bigger tires, I just bought the bfg 285/70/17 that are on there before I put the lift on, so I have to wait a little bit before I can get bigger tires,

I just ordered a 5100 kit (6% coils) with minipacks today.

How many people are using an adjustable track bar with a 2inch Lift up front?

I also ordered the swaybar extensions also.

I would. I used one with my 2" springs.

I have the Bilstein 5100 System w/ end links. I use Thuren Trac Bar. It made a difference w/ tightening up the truck going around corners and taking on bumps. It will recenter your axles from side to side. I also ordered recently Don's Control Arms. I don't know how many times off road I hit a 8"-foot pothole w/o tweaking my stock control arms.

Am I correct in assuming this is for 4WD?

This may not be related but does anyone have any experience on removing the front spindle of a 2WD without destroying the ball joint boots like it does if you use a fork?

Loosen the nut (don't take it completely off) then give the spindle a couple of good hits with a mallet at the joint and it should pop right off. Don't use a fork unless you want to buy new ball joints.

Yeah, previously had a Dakota and the joints would not come loose with even heavy hits. Had to use forks and still did not really want to turn loose all that easy ... was replacing the joints so in that scenario forks worked.

Any suggestions if the joints wont come loose from just knocking on them?

Bigger hammer?

Just pokin' fun. Maybe a little penetrating lube, or a use a punch on the end of the stud and hit that with a hammer.

Oh, and some patience.

Nice rig, very similar to what I'm doing. I've had the leveling kit in for about 2 months, had the tires for about 1 month, still waiting on my wheels....maybe next week, they are being chromed now.

I got the same tire as you in a 305/65/17, what do you think of them so far ?

I love the tires. I have the 285's so I can keep my stock spare since I tow. The road noise is minimal and when I took them off road this last weekend, they grabbed great. When I would tow my 5er into the desert with the stock tires, I would slide a little and the truck would pull a little with the changes in the dirt. This time the truck grabbed well and tracked straight through. Without the trailer, the tires also did great and so did the suspension. I kept the truck under 55mph off road so did not really push it, but the suspension handled small to mid divots/bumps well and the tires gripped great. You will be happy with them.

My front two slinkys showed up yesterday. Just waiting on the rest of the parts. Then I have to buy a six pack of gumption (afterwards of course).
Or would it bee a six pack of liquid celebration.
