I am Looking for a place to get 6" stack kits for a little cheaper than some of the places on the net that are common to find. Any advise?

eBay, and classifieds...thats the only place you'll get them reasonably. Its insane what guys want for a crossbox, or just for a 5" (or even 4") T-pipe, about $110 at Napa, plus the stacks and the rest of the tubing. I've seen a few here go for under $200.

Find a heavy truck place that handles Grand Rock Exhaust products and piece together what you need. It will be cheaper than a kit.

build your own

Get a 6" piece of Polished Stainless for a couple hundred bucks and build your own set.

Yea...If I had a TIG Welder at home I'd do that, but I can't afford a drop a few grand on a new Welder.

set of stacks on ebay = 100.00
6 inch box tube 7 ft long = 50.00
3 feet of 4 inch Stainless Flex pipe = 50.00
2 stainless clamps = 70.00

Cut holes in end, weld stacks into holes
Cut hole in bottom, weld 4 inch round stock into hole

Cut square hole in top above the bottom hole to weld Vee into (this disperses exhaust evenly to both stacks)

Weld L brackets to bottom of square tubing to act as legs to bolt down to bed.

Cut exhaust, install stainless steel flex pipe from exhaust to manifold.

As you can see, this is a lot of material and labor. Cheap dont exist.

You can find smaller TIG welders that work just fine to weld this 10 ga stainless for about $700. on ebay. Look for an inverter welding machine. Miller makes a nice little unit we been using for years called a "MaxStar" and ours are 140 units. They weld all day at 90 amps and never give us any problems.

Oh, thanks guys for the compliments.
