Originally I posted asking about front lockers - I reserached - Ifound best option is the Eaton E. I agree with you about the rearend - mine locks up great all the time in any application.
But if I was buying a brand new CTD I wish that dodge would go ahead and add the EL series TracRites to their options for the diesel. I think it would be great to have all four locked up (by me) in some of the real slow terrain I run through sometimes.

Dan....I have read thru this post toooo many times in an attempt to understand the right answer, all I get is a headache. Is the Eaton E locker you have found for the front axle the one that will fit our CTD's? And it requires some small grinding inside the axle housing? Am I also correct in assuming that the E is for electric and this Eaton E is similar to the Powerwagon? Thanks for any help you can shed here, sorry for all the questions.

No problem... The Eaton E is electric. This Eaton fits chevy and Dodge 9.25 AAM axles with the exception in the Dodge there is some small adjustments. I have talked with Eaton about this and Randy's Ring and Pinion and also my performance guy-They all three said no problem! (Randy's tech guy said they have sold quite a few to Dodge guys) The Eaton will be controlled inside the cab by a switch-just like the 9.25 TracRite EL Power Wagon locker. Within a month I should have mine in- I will let everyone know how it works.

Didn't someone say that the E-locker from Eaton for the 9.25 AAM now fits both Dodge and Chevy with no grinding?

yes it is a verry minor housing mod. takes less than a min once you see where you need to grind.
yes the eaton e locker is an eltricly acuated locker.
no it it is not simaler to the power wagon unit. the pw is a torsen style limited slip untill acuated, then an electromagnet drives pins into a side gear to lock it up. the eaton differs in the fact that it is an open diff untill locked.

no there is not an aftermarket available locker for the 11.5 rear at this time. keep your pants on, you will have several choices in the future.

well I kind of wondered when someone would ask. Randy's Ring and Pinion told me they would be in on the 15th of April. Called every week since and still no locker to send me. As soon as I get it it will be put in. My truck goes in Tuesday for a tripple tourqe 1 piece input and double flex plate.

Glad to hear that you are attempting to keep this mod on the to do list. I can't believe how difficult it is to get LS or Locking Diffs for these trucks considering how many are hitting the roads.

I'm waiting for Tru-Tracs front and rear

There is no way I am not going to carry this one out. This idea has peaked all my local buddies interest. Thats all they want to talk about. They got to see it on if it helps this summer at the track. If it does I know of two more Eaton E lockers that are sold.

I just did a quick check on the ARB web site and didnt see anything mentioned for the newer Dodges.

How did you come about this info? Where can I see one and find out some info on pricing?

Thanks!
