Load Ratings on Tires
I understand that you are not towing your 5th wheel that much (4-5 times per year) BUT it only takes one thing to go wrong and have a catastrophic failure. It is not worth it to me or more importantly the occupants of my vehicle to run a lesser tire than what came on the truck.
I hear you thundercloud, but what were the origional tires the bfg 265's I cant think that they were much more,, I am totally oblivious to how much the rating was on them

Never mind, I see its the Open Country AT.
They have a D-rated tire good for 3195 lbs and an E-rated good for 3750 lbs. You'll have to check the sidewall of your tire to see which one you have.

If your not hauling heavy a "D" rated tire will work just fine.

Oh no. You can get the E rated in the US. It's a Toyo thing - they're available in the US, but not accessible to Canadian dealers. I've located some in the US. The prblem is that the company doesn't ship to Canada.
In "Performance and Accessories", I've started a thread to find someone to pick 'em up and ship them to me.
Morkable - If someone offers to pick them up and ship, do you want a set??
