I would like to go to toyos,, but the budget isnt allowing for that right at the moment. That is why I am wondering so much about if these tires will work

I understand that you are not towing your 5th wheel that much (4-5 times per year) BUT it only takes one thing to go wrong and have a catastrophic failure. It is not worth it to me or more importantly the occupants of my vehicle to run a lesser tire than what came on the truck.

Never mind, I see its the Open Country AT.

They have a D-rated tire good for 3195 lbs and an E-rated good for 3750 lbs. You'll have to check the sidewall of your tire to see which one you have.

Kevin------ something to keep in mind when gettin' new tires is Dodge recommends a load range "E" for our 2500 trucks [3500 SRW]. Dropping back to a load range "D" is derating your load range. You may be only carring a heavy 5er 4 or 5 times a year but it only takes once to have a "problem" from under rated load range tires. I've hauled commercial trailers moving my material and equipment to the next job site and will not use a "D" rated tire on any of my 2500/3500 SRW trucks. We did run the "D" on the DRW trucks but with 4 tires on the rear we had no probs.
If your not hauling heavy a "D" rated tire will work just fine.

The D rated / 3195 lbs. / 65 psi are the only ones available in Canada.

Oh no. You can get the E rated in the US. It's a Toyo thing - they're available in the US, but not accessible to Canadian dealers. I've located some in the US. The prblem is that the company doesn't ship to Canada.

In "Performance and Accessories", I've started a thread to find someone to pick 'em up and ship them to me.

Morkable - If someone offers to pick them up and ship, do you want a set??
