LineX or Rhino
A liner called Perma-tech is worth looking into. I had it in my PSD and liked it a lot. Totally bomber and really thick, which I like because I keep "The Big Black Dog" back there. Its a two part product that won't chalk out and is more forgiving on the knees than rhino. Dealers may not be as easy to find though, as the other makes. Has a great warranty and I was happy with its ruggedness.

I have a liner that is identical to Line-X (but cheaper). The Line-X has more of a hard plastic feel and definitely holds up better when tossing stuff in and out of the bed.
I have had 3 trucks Rhino'd. I never had any issues with it flaking, but it was easy to gouge/cut. The Rhino has a more rubbery feel. You do need to maintain the Rhino, or it will go grey on you. Basically you need to use a UV protectant like Armor All to keep it black.
The stuff in your bed will stick to the Rhino better, but the Line-X is tougher.

Funny... I was just thinking yesterday how non-slip the Line-X is. I have one of those Rubbermaid boxes back there with straps and bungee cords in it, and despite driving over bumps and a few panic stops it's exactly where I left it. Nothing holding it in place except friction with the bedliner.
I have trouble sliding my ramps in at times because it grips so much. Other than that I like the linex.

I have the lining called Signature Lining, if you have one in your area it is heads above bothof the other. The color can be what ever you want and the color is all the way through. Mine is a dark kaki to match the interior on my 06. It actually sparkles in the sun.
See if you can get them to spray it on atleast 1/4". I think that standard is about 1/8" and it is a little too thin for heavy gang boxes and sharper things.
Other than that its great, I've had it on a cj-7, half ton dodge, road armor style bumpers I built, speaker box in the truck and now the CTD.

Guy that works for me has Rhino lining in his truck and it is 18 months old. I have Line-X in my truck and it is 2 months old.
He has had to take his Rhino back for patches 4 times in a year from hauling yard tools, car parts, trash, etc. I carried 200# bricks, a barrel and a drill press in mine and there is not even a dent.
If you feel his, it is definately spongy somewhat...not soft but you can tell it is a firm absorbing cushion feel...like hard rubber. The Line-X feels rock hard to me.
I just like the LINEX all around better than anything else I have seen and the guy that does them here in Charleston area is superb with absolutely straight lines taped off and great service.
My short bed with spray on the rails, over tailgate lip and over bed edge and bottom of tailgate if hauling with gate down.....was $450.00 out the door. Took him about 2-3 hours of prep and spraying. I hear there are a few others but check them out and touch and pick at the others...they should have examples in their shop to check out.
They have multiple colors...but I put in black but it has some sparkle stuff in it so it always looks wet. Contrasts with the Inferno Red Pearl paint perfectly.
Good luck.
I had my '06 longbed Ram 2500 sprayed with Line-X over the rail, and love it. I bought a rubber mat to put down over the line-X because I haul engine blocks and heads and the sharp machined edges can cut. My bed is really protected and nothing slides . 79.99 for the mat, so it was cheap enough. I wanted to protect the sides and tail gate from scratches and dents so that is the main reason I went with a spray on liner AND the rubber mat. Thought the price $525.00 for over the rail and long bed was a bit pricey...but after investigating it more...turned out that was as good a deal as I was ging to get. And yes I heard those things about Rhino too.."peals off and changes color". Very glad I went with Line-X. Like thier warranty too. JMHO, Terry.
Love my Line-X. When I bought it the guy gave me a certificate and told me that if I ever had to get it fixed at a different dealer to just show them the receipt and that certificate and theyd fix it for free....
I have had it in my truck for a year now. I had it color matched, over the rails and a clear Line-X applied. Looks like it came from the factory. I went to Michigan from South Carolina with two motors strapped down. The 305 i was carrying bounced and dented the center of my bed, the Line-X followed it. The 3400 had the O2 sensors in it and cut the liner, but it held up remarkably well. I have looked at the Rhino liner and tore it by rubbing my hand on it. Besides, you can get any design you want in Line-X, Rhino can not.
