Since my truck has been mod to the intake fuel system, would order the 2005 kit where it comes stock in the tank? Also is it really requried to drop the tank, not really understanding where you install this draw straw, would assume you us an existing port of hole in the tank? The write up at the DTR store says the stock system is useable with very little effort to get it back up and running if you ever choose to. There must be a T fitting from the Walbro system into the stock system?
I am debating between the Walbro kit, most likely from DTR or the FASS 2 High pressure pumps. My truck is pretty much stock, got a cold air intake and thats it for mods other then my trusty fuel pressure guage. Would like to get a chip down the road once this truck stops costing me extra money.
How many of you would do the Walbro VS the Fass 2?

Cheers
I vote Walbro... in case you couldn't figure that out...

FASS is not noisy ( they have a recall and a 6 year warrantee if you feel it is noisy.) Diesel rated, and your worry free.

I'll second this. DTR store is a good deal and the Glacier is a great product (walbro). I put mine in last weekend and I'm up to 17psi now. On 80, at WOT, I can pull it down to 15#. (of course that is if I REALLY had a Predator on 'Extreme' in my CA CTD)

OK, if you are going to drop the tank, you might as well spend the extra ducketts on the tank vent kit. Its only about 35-40 bucks. It is great. Imagin, filling your tank till it is full, without babying the last couple of gallons in. My last fill up (first with the vent kit) was 37.1 gallons @ 2.999/gal.

Sorry for the hijack but where can you get the vent kit. I hate to stop at the gas station so I always take the time to really top up but it would be nice not to have to wait so long to get the last 3 gallons in.

I picked mine up from diesel-max at http://www.diesel-max.com/store-cate...s_2429930.html or http://tinyurl.com/2guhzf should get you there. Once you choose long or short bed, it should take you to a page with a link to the directions down at the bottom. Great instructions/pics.

You can get em' from GlacierDiesel also. I think...

I did mine when I dropped the tank. I've saved hours standing there pumping fuel since the mod. Very quick now.
