lift kits and control arms

Looking for some pro opinions out there.

why do lift kits like tuff country, fabtech, etc have control arms in their kit while kore and carli don't require control arms. I'm guessing it's partly b'c kore and carli don't lift the truck as much as others.

furthermore, how much are the control arms in tuff country, fabtech, etc, versus the $1200-$1500 high end control arms of others.

they only feel the need to give you control arms after you spend $10,000 on their unlimited system.

Ouch that was biased.... I hope you are speaking from experience with KORE. If not that sucks... They do not provide enough lif tin order to need them. Once you start getting 5+ inches then you need to worry about suspension geometery. You must extend the control arms to keep the tires and geometry within an acceptable range....

just depends on what you want your truck for. If you arent into desert racing and just want the truck to look cool, save big bucks and get a cheap lift. With the control arms. If you like your truck to ride like a cady and perform like a trophy truck, then call carli, lorenz, or thuren and if you care about prestige and got the dough then get the kore. Thats what my research has led me to. Hope that helps. BTW if kore was the only company that could make my truck ride and perform that good, I would probably be forced to buy from them. But Im glad thats not the case.
