Just put 6 inch superlift, 37x13.50x20 Kumho Road ventures, and 20x10 inch Ultra Predator 8's on my '06 Quadcab 2500 CTD. Power has decreased alot and I am planning on putting the EDGE on now...Any opinions or thoughts?!?!?!?
Add more power, but as stated you need to start thinking about some trans work. 37's are gonna be a little tuff to turn over till you start putting some power to the ground.
But Im sure your truck looks great.

You can change your ratio, but its pricey and your stuck with it if you change your mind and go to a different tire size. Get rid of the stock trans to put some power to the ground and add some power to the truck. The tires on my truck are 36.9" and I have no issue. You need to add some power to make up for the load you are putting on your truck.
You'll deffinetly need to add a Edge and some other goodies as well to re-coupe all that power lost.
I can burn the tires off in the truck in my sig w/ the BDTD. But when I put the BDTD on my fathers truck w/ a 6" lift on 37's it hardly breaks them loose unless your trying to swing doughnuts.
Stock vs stock, no boxes just an intake and exaust we can run it on the freeway and I pull away from him everytime. Both trucks are 03 SO California trucks. Those hurkin 37's do suck down a little power. But they look good

Gears may not be cheap, but a built tranny is twice to three times as much. I'd throw in a set of 4.56s if you tow.
Really though, you have a big lifted truck with big, heavy wheels and tires. Unless you throw lots of money at it your not going to have a hot rod.

I run 37" Toyo's and I can spin these suckers all day long. I'm running factory 3.73 gears.
I would not want 4.10's that would be just too low for my liking. I use 1st gear to start.
Add fuel, air, transmission and you should be good for power.

1st gear on the manual is super low, quite a bit lower than the auto.
Going from 265/70-17 (31.6") to 37" is like swapping the 3.73s for 3.18s. With an auto that's going to hurt. A set 4.56s will bring you within 5% of factory gearing with the 4.56s being slightly lower which will will help get those tire moving. Remember, not only are the tires much taller, they are much wider and a ton heavier, creating a whole lot more rolling resistance.

Gearing is the best way to go.I have 4.10s and 37" toyo mts they are big and heavy. The tire alone is 93-94lbs add your wheel weight on top of that.Even with 4.10s the stock powered truck will be a bit slower than stock accelerating.Be carefull just throwing a bunch of power at it,you will break more parts with bigger tires and big power.
