i need to know what the outside diameter and inside diameter of the top plate is. i have a 2in spacer and should have ordered 3in, with the ranch hand and steps it saggin a little! now im trying to figure out a way to make/stack a 1in spacer. thanks for any help in advance

 

id say your better off just buying a new 3" spacer and selling your old in the classifieds. better safe than sorry.

i know what you mean about your front end sagging since i added my bumper. i need to take some air out of my rear bags though too. thats would help alot but i pick my boat up tomorrow so no sense in changing it now

my plan was to machine a soild aluminum spacer and drill holes in it that match the studs, then replace the studs with longer grade 8 bolts. seems simple but maybe im missing something. anyone else tried this or thought about it?

 

I wouldn't stack spacers. Just make a 3" instead and sell the 2".

 

Stacking spacers is a very bad idea.

 

really dont think it would be that hard to fab up if you have the equipment to do it. stacking isnt the best thing you could do....

 

The upper mount "cups" the spacer and prevents the spacer from being ejected out the side. If you shim it down that far it could possibly kick out if it was to rip out those studs.

 

yeah i agree that you should get a new 3" and Sell the 2" to me.... i need one and i think it would fit on my 04 2wd correct?

 

mine is 4x4 and im pretty sure they wont work on a 2wd. i wouldnt want you to waste your money. the 2wd ones look a little different.

What lift are you referring to for a 2wd??? I am looking for one for mine...

 

i found this one on ebay but didn't see that it only said 1500 but i am going to call them and see if they make one for the 2500 and 3500 i will let you know what i hear. i'm sure they do the have one for everything else. the price is $451 w/ spindles and shock included.

Did you call Top Gun Customz and see if they make one for your truck?

 

Bad news I just got off the phone with them and they said that they didn't have anything and didn't know of a company that made it for my truck so i am a little right now. so any help from someone that knows where we can get a left for our 2500 and 3500 2wd. Thanks,
