This my have been asked already but I wanted a quick answer.

1. Does the 2 inch lift stress the problematic ball joints eve nmore than stock?

2. What does it do to my warranty for the front end?

 

Answer:

1 Sure it will add some stress.
2 With leveling kit and 315s dealer would not warranty stabilizer bar link rods I bent the heck out of, but will warranty the ball joints if bad. Go figure.

I ran Daystar 2" spacers, Rancho 9000Xs and BGF 315s for around 52,000 miles. The bent stabilizer bar link rods was the only issue I had during that time. That was a one time incident that was my fault. No other problems that I am aware of. I have had the ball joints and U joints checked by dealer and 4 wheel drive shop around 45,000 miles, around .020 play. Well within spec as far as DC is concerned. Never had a problem with alignment and always tracked straight at any speed.
