There was a post a few days ago about some guys having issues with them coming loose and having to be readjusted.

I think for that amount of money you can get better, but that's just my personal opinion. I feel like he is priced WAY to high on his products.

I have had mine for quite awhile now and have had none of the issues discussed. In fact, the recent posts regarding the one guy having his loosen was the first complaint I can remember.

Mike is a really nice guy to talk with and he is pretty straightforward too. I suggest calling him; he'll answer your questions honestly.

No problems here....had for 3 yrs.
End links are holding up very well. Not just tractor Heim Joints.

Didn't see the thread on loosening up but if you don't make them tight enough the locking nut will loose tension going over bumps. Problem easily handled with two locking nuts if someone wanted weak spring tension.I reset mine 18 months ago and have had no loosening.
Unless you have equipment to make your own, the quality is important, IMO. Lazarsmith Bars are top notch!

were did you get the nuts from? I put red lock tight on mine and are still coming loose. and the last time I tightened up the lock plate I broke the tool that came with the bars.

its time for you guys to wake up to reality, not bad mouthing anybody or mike but iam sure if you talk to him he will tell you they ARE tractor heims. He makes them pretty dang good and all from my comparisons they are the same exact joints you get at any TSC. For some his price is fair but for others its just plain "overpriced" but thats what he does so all respect to him.

I have bought products from Mike before, so I know he makes really good stuff

I did plan on getting the bar from him and just wanted to see some pics and see if anyone has had any issues with joints, that's it and nothing more....

I would also plan on, and suggest, take the joints into a store and finding a "jam nut" to fit the threads of the rods, to snug them down nicely

Does anyone know the thread size or pitch on these joints that Lazar Smith uses?

They eliminate axle wrap, meaning when your rear axle lifts on one side because of the direction the gears turn, it has less traction, and can spin. With the ladder bars, it keeps the axle level, applying even power to each wheel. It also eliminates wheel hop.

It looks like you would have to remove the bar entirely to put the truck up on a 2-post lift...

Am I correct in assuming this?

Here are a few pics of my LS traction bars. They really help put the power to the ground and eliminate spring/axle wrap. I highly recommend them.
