I thought when you put LED taillights on you replace the whole thing; not just the bulbs.

I can't figure out thought why the bigger modifications are always easier to figure out and get done but always cost more $. Then I try to do the small mods and can't get anything done rght.

 

I have the led tail lights made by DEPO. When I bought them the were written up to fit up to '05 trucks. They fit just fine no difference in tail light housing. I like mine a lot.

I have the same tailights as carcrz,except mine are black, and I know for a fact that they fit on a mega cab. And they are awesome, excellent visability. Very noticable

Thanks for yalls help. I will see if I can find these Depo lights somewhere unless yall know of a good place to get them from. Also, will they say they fit the Mega Cab or have you put these on a Mega Cab? I just want to know so I don't even ask them for lights for a Mega Cab even if they don't know if they fit.

 

Most of these guys at the parts counter have no idea what will or will not fit which truck. If it doesn't say your truck on the side of the box they'll tell you it won't fit. And sometimes it takes a while for the manufacturer to get catalogues and boxes updated with the new model year information. Just keep that in mind when ordering.

Just for comparison sake, I pulled the OEM light on my Megacab.

The part # is
55077343AC

If someone wants to take the part # off their 2006 QC we can compare. it will be the longest minute of your life to pull the taillight.

I am betting they are the same taillight on Reg. Cab, QC, MC.

If the part #'s match, then order whatever fits a Reg. Cab or QC.

can't wait to get them. I really like the new blacked out look. I wish I had gotten black wheels. Thinkin' of gettin black bead lock rings for my wheels. I will be sure and post pics when I get them installed.
