I also had problems with the XZT box that could not be resolved after 3 times back and forth so I asked for a refund and got it quickly.

Bill,

Your situation was a little different. I still wished I could figure out how to get something to work on your truck. I am hoping you sign up for some beta testing on some of the newer products.

Happy Customer

I've had my race box for about 5 months and the only problem I've had is throwing a P0148 code when on 100hp setting and using cruise control. I contracted quad a couple of months ago and they told me they were working on the problem. I through the code again a couple of days ago so I called quad and spoke with Jeramy. He said that problem has been fixed and to send my module back to have it reflashed. I guess that is the kind of support I would expect. I'm really sorry that isn't everyones experience.

Quad's support (Class A)

I had a problem with my Xzillaraider on my Dodge, called Quad, and they said bring it on over. I live in Tx, not far from Ft. Worth. Jeremy quickly and professionally reflashed the module, installed it, rode with me and made sure everything was a o.k. My experience with their customer service was superb. Drove home on just the 30 hp setting, oh yeah. 70 horse setting, oh Edit. Hadn't even hit the 100 hp setting yet. Think I'll challenge my wifes SRT 4 this weekend, and if she beats me I'll get the cuda or charger out on her Edit. Quad was great!

I did recieve my new xzt box in the mail today. I installed it and everything is ok so far. I only took a ride around the block and let it idle for about 15-20 minutes. I am going to wisconsin tomorrow morning and will find out how it likes the long haul. So I must say that for now the problem has been fixed,, I thank quad/jeremy for sending a new one to me and hope it stays running like it should. I will give an update tomorrow night when I get home to tell if everything stayed good. If so I'm happy.... If not well we will have to deal with that when the time arises.... Thanks for the help quad... I wished it could have gone a little quicker but we should be good to go now.

These are the numbers with just the basic quad tow box?

What are the numbers bone stock?

Can this box be stacked with anything else (other then EZ) in the future?

Thanks guys.

these are number with the basic quad tow box .. nothing else ... i think my rear wheel hp is about 275-280 w/o the box ...i don't think this a a good stack for the ez due to the fact that the quad box is pressure and timing .. i think you wanna stack the ez with strictally a timing and duration box ... i could be wrong though ..

Qzilla....

Ya, sorry, wasn't sure if the quad tow is timing only or not. IMO, the best stack for the EZ is the Edge Juice w/attitude. Same company, same support.

What I don't like about the edge is that it seems to not work right with corrected 'pinion factor' for my 37" tires, and I really would like to have the correct speed.

Just can't seem to figure out what is the best for me. I want some power now, maybe a bit more later.

And I want to make it work if possible with my new muffler, AFE Stage II and ROKK sensor.

Maybe Qzilla can answer this, can I run one of your boxes with this sensor? The Race box maybe?

I am mainly looking for bottom end increase and midrange. But I would like to have the future "option". Would the race box be too much for me now on modest setting/use? I figure never more then 100hp (most ppl. like this setting for good off the line power), and hardly ever WOT. I have EGT, Boost and Trans Temp gagues, muffler and AFE Stage II. After I get a box, TC and VB mod is next.

BTW: Been doing some reaserch tonight on your products, the new monitor comming out sounds exciting. The idle control would be HUGE. I can't stress that enough... Might not be easy, but well worth it. I live out of this truck in a cold northern canadian climate... I would love this option...even if I have to wait for it.

Thanks.

I have never used the Rokktech sensor, but if it does what it says and adds 2 degrees then you can stack ours with it no problem.

I can also tell you that anything you buy from us now will have multiple stacking options in the near future. We are working on a number of things to be released. You won't ever lack for power and I can guarantee that.

Cool, well, I think I am gonna get a Quad product.

One thing though...if I get the Race box, and use it wisely, will it be too much for me now, or not really. Others say that the difference between the std. and race box are minimal.

I got this right from Rokktech website

The timing sensor is compatible with the following aftermarket boxes, as verified by users.

Banks 6-gun w/ speed loader, verified by users.

EDGE EZ, verified by users.

Quadzilla, all boxes, including race. Verified by users.

TS ramifier, verified by users.

We will add others as they become known. Let us know if you are successfully stacking one of these sensors with any other aftermarket boxes.

Cool, thanks!!!

One more question. With the race box, the only thing that goes through the firewall into the pass. compartment is the adj. ****, correct?

Thanks.

just an update on my xzt box... After 700 miles off and on-road the new box has worked flawlessly!!! As long as it stays this way the problem has been solved. Although if it were possible I would like to know what you find wrong with my old one just so I know... You know "piece of mind" That would be great.

From what I've read, the Van Aaken box is a good stack with the Quad boxes. I am another one who has had no problems with my box other than losing mileage due to a heavy foot!!
